2. What is Collaborative AI Processing?
Collaborative AI Processing is our exclusive technology that enables multiple AI models to work together. When you use this feature, your query is processed by multiple AI models sequentially, in parallel, or iteratively — creating a more comprehensive, accurate, and nuanced result than any single AI could provide alone. Smart Mode automatically triggers this when your question would benefit from collaborative processing.

5. How is MultipleChat a Swiss Made Software?
MultipleChat is developed and operated from Switzerland, adhering to Swiss standards for quality, privacy, and innovation. We act as an interface that connects to official AI APIs and displays their responses in a user-friendly format. The AI responses are generated by the respective AI service providers, not by MultipleChat. Verify our Swiss Made Software certification here.
6. Do you offer discounts for universities or research institutions?
Yes, we offer discounts for any organisation that creates more than 1,000 subscriptions at once. Contact our sales team to discuss your needs.

7. Which AI models are included?
You get access to the latest premium versions of ChatGPT (OpenAI), Claude (Anthropic), Gemini (Google), Grok (xAI), and WebSearch capabilities via Perplexity AI — all in one workspace. For image generation, we include Nano Banana, Nano Banana Pro, Stable Diffusion models, Recraft, Leonardo, DALL-E 3, and Ideogram. We continuously update the platform to ensure you have access to the most advanced AI models available.
8. Can I use individual AI models separately?
Yes, you have complete flexibility. Disable Smart Mode to interact with individual AI models through our model selector, or enable it to utilize our Collaborative AI Processing technology. Use single models for quick answers or collaboration mode for comprehensive insights — the choice depends on your specific needs.
9. What are the main benefits of AI-Team
AI-Team provides intelligent processing that automatically decides the best approach for each question. It includes automatic web search when current information is needed, collaborative processing where multiple AI models work together for superior results, and optional auto-verification where an independent AI fact-checks responses for accuracy. This means better quality responses with less manual effort.
10. Can I customize how AI models collaborate or work together as a Team?
Yes — you can configure how AI Models work together. You can select which model does what and in what role. This lets you orchestrate exactly how AI models work together. Users can select the interaction mode that will tell the team members how they shall speak to each other (parallel, iteratively or sequentially) and set a hierarchy between team members if necessary. Parallel speaking can be imagined as two humans answering at the same time, iterative speaking can be imagined as one responds, the next one responds to the response so that the first one improves the response (this in 2 iterations), and sequentially is when one responds and the next one listens and responds to user question after listening others.
11. Which AI models work together in collaboration mode?
In Smart Mode collaboration, the system typically uses the latest ChatGPT model for initial response generation, then Claude for enhancement and refinement. This combination leverages GPT's broad knowledge and Claude's analytical strengths. The specific models and sequence can vary based on your query type and the custom collaboration prompts you've configured.
12. What is WebSearch via Perplexity AI?
WebSearch via Perplexity AI is our real-time web information access feature. It allows AI models to search the web for current information, breaking news, market data, and research sources. This ensures you get the most up-to-date information available, not just pre-trained data.
13. Can I upload files and documents?
Yes, you can upload files and documents to compatible AI models through our platform. File handling capabilities depend on what's supported by each AI service's official API. MultipleChat facilitates the connection between you and these services while maintaining security and privacy. You can also use studios for better file handling, and more flexibility to edit the files.
14. Can I export or import my chat history?
Yes, you can export your chat history in multiple formats including JSON, CSV, and PDF from your account dashboard. Useful for archiving conversations, compliance purposes, or sharing specific chats with team members. You can also import your chat history from other AI Vendors to MultipleChat AI and reuse it in our interface.
Pricing & Subscription
15. What subscription plans are available?
MultipleChat offers five subscription plans designed for different usage levels. Pro ($14.99/month) gives individuals access to all major AI models and the core collaboration features. Smart ($90/month) is for power users — everything in Pro plus 5x more usage and higher file upload limits. Pro for Teams ($25/seat/month) and Smart for Teams ($95/seat/month) add centralized billing for the whole company, the ability to invite members, share chats across the team, and work on the same Projects together. 16. Can I cancel my subscription anytime?
Yes, you can cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings. If you cancel before the end of your billing cycle, you'll continue to have access to premium features until the end of your current billing period.
17. Can I switch between monthly and yearly billing?
Yes. You can switch from monthly to yearly billing (and save 20%) at any time from your account settings. If you switch mid-cycle, we'll prorate the difference. Switching from yearly to monthly takes effect at the end of your current billing period.
18. Can I get an invoice with company details / VAT?
Yes. Payments are processed via Stripe/PayPal and invoices automatically include your company details and tax information. You can add or update billing details in your account settings at any time.
19. Do you offer team or enterprise plans?
Yes. Our Team plan gives you centralized billing for the whole company, the ability to invite team members, shared chats across the team, and the ability to work on the same Project together. Contact [email protected] to discuss your team setup.
Privacy & Security
20. How do you ensure data privacy and security?
MultipleChat prioritizes your privacy and data security. We use enterprise-grade encryption (TLS 1.3, AES-256), comply with GDPR and SOC 2 standards, and store chat history securely in our Swiss data centres. You can delete your chat history anytime. Authentication is managed through Auth0 (Okta), protected by Cloudflare, and hosted on Microsoft Azure's Swiss region. We don't train on your conversations and don't share data between accounts.
21. Are my custom collaboration prompts saved?
Yes. Your custom AI collaboration prompts are automatically saved and persist across sessions. They are applied every time Smart Mode uses collaborative processing. You can modify, reset to defaults, or create entirely new collaboration workflows at any time through the configuration panel.

AI Studios
23. What is Document Studio?
Document Studio is an AI-powered document generator and editor. Give it a topic, pick a document type, choose your AI model, and it produces a fully formatted, professional document ready to download. It supports 11 document types: Business Reports, Proposals, Whitepapers, Case Studies, Statements of Work, Meeting Minutes, Cover Letters, Resumes / CVs, Internal Memos, Creative / Essays, and Custom / Freeform. You can export every document as DOCX, PDF, Markdown, or HTML — all from a single generation.
24. What collaboration modes does Document Studio offer?
Document Studio has three collaboration modes. Single Model — one AI generates the document from start to finish, fastest option. Cooperative Writing — Model A drafts the document, Model B reviews and suggests improvements, then Model A produces the final version; ideal for strategy documents and thought leadership. Competitive Drafting — two AI models each produce a complete draft independently, which you can compare side by side and pick or merge the best of both.
25. Can Document Studio process my existing documents?
Yes. Upload an existing DOCX, PDF, TXT, or Markdown file and Document Studio can improve it, summarize it, expand it, restructure it, adjust its tone, translate it to another language, extract all action items and decisions, or merge it with other source documents. Each action runs through AI and returns a new fully formatted file in your chosen export format.
26. What is Presentation Studio?
Presentation Studio generates a fully designed, ready-to-present PowerPoint (.pptx) file from a topic or reference content. It is not a template filler — the AI designs the slide structure, writes the content, chooses the layout for each slide, adds speaker notes to every slide, and applies a consistent visual theme. The PPTX downloads automatically the moment generation completes. It's available on the Professional plan.
27. What slide layouts and styles does Presentation Studio support?
Presentation Studio supports 7 slide layouts: Title, Content, Two-Column, Section divider, Stats, Quote, and Closing. It offers 6 presentation styles: Business, Pitch Deck, Educational, Creative, Data Report, and Minimal — each with its own colour palette and typography. You can override with custom hex brand colours. You can also upload an existing .pptx and have the AI improve, expand, reorder, redesign, summarise, translate, or add speaker notes to it.
28. What is Excel Studio and what can it do?
Excel Studio lets you generate new spreadsheets from a plain-English description, or upload an existing XLSX, CSV, or TSV and have the AI process it. Generated files download as .xlsx with multiple sheets, formulas, charts, and conditional formatting. For existing files, AI can improve formatting, add formulas (SUM, AVERAGE, running totals, percentage-of-total, growth rates), insert charts, translate headers, or restructure the sheet layout. Every output is also available as CSV.
29. What data cleaning tools does Excel Studio include?
Excel Studio includes a full suite of Python-powered data tools that run without consuming AI tokens: trim whitespace, remove duplicate rows, standardise text case, fix and normalise date formats, split a column by delimiter, merge columns with a separator, remove empty rows and columns, and forward/back-fill blank cells. For formatting, it can auto-apply table styles, add colour-scale or data-bar conditional formatting, highlight cells above/below a threshold, freeze the header row, auto-fit column widths, and fix number formats. It can also pivot/summarise data, transpose rows and columns, split data into separate sheets by category, and add dropdown validation or named ranges.
30. What is Image Studio?
Image Studio is an AI-powered image editor. Upload a photo (PNG, JPEG, or WebP up to 10 MB) and give it a natural language instruction — "remove the background," "change the background to a studio setting," "make this look like a watercolour painting" — and it applies the edit using either ChatGPT or Gemini Models. It also includes one-click background removal that returns a transparent PNG, useful for product photography, social assets, and design work. Image Studio is separate from the Image Generator, which creates new images from scratch using 8 models in parallel.
31. Which image generation models are available, and what are they best for?
MultipleChat's Image Generator gives you access to 8 models in one place. DALL·E 3 (OpenAI) — best for prompt accuracy and concept art. Nano Banana (Google) — best for aesthetic quality. Nano Banana Pro (Google) — best for creative, experimental output. Stable Diffusion XL — best for commercial and high-resolution use. Stable Diffusion 3 — best for control and complex prompt adherence. Leonardo AI — best for character design and stylised art. Ideogram — industry-leading for text rendering inside images (logos, posters, typography). Recraft — best for speed. You can generate with all models simultaneously from one prompt and compare side-by-side before downloading.
32. Can I use documents from my Projects inside the Studios?
Yes. Document Studio and Excel Studio can pull files directly from your Projects. Any DOCX, PDF, TXT, or Markdown file you've uploaded to a Project can be used as source content in Document Studio. Any XLSX, XLS, CSV, or TSV file in a Project can be loaded into Excel Studio for processing. This means you can maintain a library of source material in Projects and generate or refine documents and spreadsheets from it without re-uploading files each time.
33. Which plan includes the Studios?
Both plans include Studios. Smart Plan has more usage and tokens.
